Area of Operations (AO)
For an interactive map, click HERE.
Supply CaptureEach faction will start the operation from its self-respawn location.  At startex, the VC will be given a map and instructions to begin a series of missions to recover supplies (ammo, medicine, & rice) that will each need to be brought to one of three secret stash destinations where it can be safely stored by the VC under combination lock for the remainder of the operation.  Initially, the VC will be given only enough information to retrieve one supply at a time, but this may increase at the discretion of Game Control to maintain the best pacing.Meanwhile, the GI will be tasked with sending out patrol units to locate and attack the VC's supply routes with the objective of stealing and hiding/guarding the supplies in order to prevent the VC from getting them to their secret stash destinations.  However, the GI are not allowed bring stolen supplies to their self-respawn location (Castle).  Likewise, the VC must keep supplies away from their self-respawn (South Bridge).  If the GI discover the VC's secret stash locations, they may set up ambushes there, but it will be impossible for the GI to steal stashed supplies if they've been properly locked up by the VC.Each supply item that's locked in a VC stash location at endex will earn 1 point for the VC.  Each unlocked supply item that's been intercepted and held by the GI will earn 1 point for the GI.
Officer CaptureThese rules apply to you if you are the Commanding Officer (CO) or Executive Officer (XO) of a faction.  During your first 3 minutes of sit time after getting hit, you may be captured and moved by any live enemy player.  First, the enemy must make physical contact with you and may then “drag” you anywhere around the airsoft field.  If directed by your captor, you must move with them at a reasonable walking pace.  If the physical contact is broken, you must restart your wristwatch timer and sit still because, after 3 minutes of continuous broken contact, you will be free from captivity.  Your captor may reset the 3 minutes repeatedly by simply touching you over and over again before your 3 minutes run out.  If your enemy fails to do this, then you are free to move to respawn without threat of any other player stopping you, and you may not be captured again for the remainder of the day. When the enemy first makes physical contact to capture you, please radio for Omego so that he can start a 30-minute timer; after which, you will be free from captivity regardless of where the enemy has moved you.  Your enemy will attempt to move you to their faction's self-respawn pole so that they can earn a bonus for your capture.  The point(s) are awarded instantly as soon as you are within 10 feet of the pole with 2 bonus points awarded for the capture of the CO and 1 bonus point awarded for the capture of the XO.  Please radio Omego immediately if this happens so that he can add the points.  Then, you are immediately free to go respawn yourself at your self-respawn pole or with a friend at a respawn tree, and you may not be captured again for the remainder of the day.Likewise, your faction may earn bonus points by capturing the enemy CO and/or XO using these same rules.
Nui Dat CaptureAs is our tradition with this event series, both factions are encouraged to fight for control of Nui Dat (MAC complex) toward the end of the operation.  There is one GI (Australian) flag and one VC (North Vietnam) flag rolled up in the tower of Nui Dat.  The faction that has its flag up flying in the tower at endex will be awarded 5 points.  Taking and holding Nui Dat too early will not earn your faction any extra points because it is only scored once at the end.
VictoryImmediately after endex, each faction will bring its acquired supplies to Nui Dat where they will be counted and added to their faction's point total.  The faction with the most total points will be declared the winner.
