Semi-Auto OnlyFull-automatic and burst-mode firing are prohibited at this event.  Only one BB is to be projected with each cycle of the trigger. However, we allow the following exceptions to this rule:
Special Hit & Respawn RulesWhen you get hit, call it, put on your red rag, sit, and start your timer.  After 3 minutes (only 2 minutes for attackers), you may sit and wait as long as you like for a live friend to come and respawn you back into the game by taking off your red rag and placing it in your hand.  Or, if it is taking too long for someone to get to you, you may stand and move to respawn yourself at your faction’s self-respawn pole.  But, once you choose to stand & move, you may not be respawned in place by a friend.  Respawn trees may not be used during this game.  You are never allowed to be within shooting range of your enemy's self-respawn pole.  During the time that you are sitting after getting hit, you may be “dragged” by a friend.
FactionsYour faction will be finalized on game day based on your preferences and the need to keep them balanced:
Blue Faction
Commanding Officer (CO): DustyInsignia color: blueRadio channel: 1 (462.5625 MHz)
Gold Faction
Commanding Officer (CO): SwayzeInsignia color: goldRadio channel: 2 (462.5875 MHz)
Radio CommunicationIf you have a two-way radio, keep it set on your faction’s radio channel.  You may monitor the other faction's channel, but do not transmit on itVOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited.  Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field.
SituationDuring phases 1 through 3, the Blue Faction will defend a series of sites against the attacking Gold Faction who are trying to destroy them with simulated bombs covering different sections of the field.  Then, during phases 4 through 6, the roles will reverse with Gold defending those same sites against Blue who will be on the attack.  Each phase is designed to last 30 minutes with a 10-minute pause in between to allow some time for everyone to get into position before the next phase starts.  Phases can end early if the of bombs are detonated early.During the pause between phases, the attacking players of the next phase are all considered to be instantly hit no matter where they are on the field and must put on their red rags.  The attackers will want to move quickly to be within 30 feet of their new self-respawn pole because that is where they must start from for the next phase.  If the new phase starts before they get there, these straggling attackers must still get within 30 feet of it before putting away their red rags and reentering the game as live players. The defending players of the next phase are all considered to be instantly revived if hit and are free to start each phase wherever they like as long as they are beyond shooting range of the attackers' self-respawn pole.

Bombs & CommsThe "bombs" will be placed by Game Control at each site prior to the start of each phase.  To blow up a site, you must use the attached Baofeng radio to announce that the bomb at that site has been activated.  If your transmission was successful, Game Control will echo back what you said and will start the 5-minute countdown to detonation.  Radio it in again if Game Control fails to reply within 10 seconds.  Once a bomb has been detonated on a location, it is no longer in play for the rest of the phase, so the factions should focus on the remaining site(s).  The countdown may be paused and restarted numerous times by the opposing factions if they use that same radio to make these requests.  If a bomb's timer is still counting down after the 30-minute phase time has ended, the phase time will be extended until that bomb either detonates or is paused.  If you have a smartphone with internet service, you may monitor the countdowns and scoreboard in real time through this URL:  https://multitimer.net/board/?q=3dbeljekhk
GoalThe faction that has blown up the most enemy locations by the end of this six-phase operation will be the winner.
