Starting PhaseBefore the game begins, each player will be given one blue and one gold insignia necklace. We will recruit 10% of players to start the game as attackers at Harris Bridge with their blue insignia on. The remaining 90% will start the game as defenders at 1st Entrance with their gold insignia on. These gold defenders are tasked with preventing the blue faction from taking the American flag that is located in the orange flag holder at 1st Entrance. The defenders aren’t allowed to touch the flag even if it’s moved out of the flag holder by the enemy; however, the defenders are encouraged to maintain a perimeter around the flag. Defenders are free to move anywhere around the field after the game starts. But, they should remember that their primary objective is to defend the flag, and it’s unwise for them to go anywhere near the attackers’ orange respawn flag holder.Meanwhile, the blue attackers’ primary objective is to steal the flag and bring it to their orange flag holder at Harris Bridge. Please let everyone know by yelling/radioing when the attackers are successful in getting the flag inserted into their orange flag holder because that will cause the game to go into the next phase where the blue faction will become the defenders, and the gold faction will become the attackers with a new location to where they need to bring the flag.
Hit & Respawn RulesFor those who are familiar, this is similar to our zombie game rules. When any player is hit, they must acknowledge it by yelling “hit” and waving a red rag. When attackers are hit, they may get back in the game as soon as they foot-tap their orange respawn flag holder. Attackers are invincible when they have one foot on their holder. When defenders are hit, they must immediately move to foot-tap the attackers’ orange respawn flag holder where they will switch insignia and reenter the game as attackers. There are no bleed-out times for either faction. This game will progress because, during each phase, the number of attackers will gradually rise while the number of defenders falls which will make it easier for the attackers to take the flag. If the attackers are struggling, Omego will start drawing names out of the bag which will force more of the defenders to report to the attackers’ respawn where they will be turned into attackers.
Phase MapThe game will progress from 1st Entrance to Harris Bridge to Fort Harris to Swamp Base to Jackal’s Hold to Pallet Base to MAC to Gully Base to Wolves’ Den to Prison to Castle to Tents to Jackal’s Hold to Swamp Base to Fort Harris to Harris Bridge to 1st Entrance.
